Mass Effect Andromeda Pushed Back

Mass Effect Andromeda has been delayed from its holiday 2016 release date into Q1 2017, according to EA CFO Blake Jorgensen.

During Morgan Stanley’s Technology, Media & Telecom Conference, via NeoGAF, Jorgensen was asked to provide the status of EA’s upcoming non-sports games. He said Mass Effect would be coming in EA’s “fourth quarter” EA’s fiscal year ends March 31. This means the game could launch sometime between January and March 2017.

Our Take:

This in not unheard of, and will probably be best for the game. We all know how bad it is when a game has to rush to its release date, looking at you Assassins Creed: Unity. However, it sucks waiting any longer on this game!
